Today I was able to pay a visit to a friend that helped me to become the teacher that I am today. He is a humble and passionate man. I visited him in the hospice ward at the rehabilitation center and knew going in that sadness would fill my heart as I left the building. My dear friend seemed unresponsive due to the morphine he is on to break away from the pain of the matasticized tumors taking over his 46 year old body. He has always been a kind and fiesty man. I only wish for his family and all of us friends healing wishes at this time and in the future. May God look over my friend and his family. God Bless!

Although our acquaintance wasn't long

What a great day this was. The boys had no idea they were going to Legoland. We packed sunscreen, chairs, towels, and all of the other necessities for THE RIVER. That is where they imagined we were going. Legoland was jam packed with people and laughter. The boys had an amazing day. After Legoland, we stayed at the Marriot, ate at The Fish Market, and enjoyed Del Mar beach on Labor Day. We had such a great time!
